With its easy-to-use graphical interface, ASG-Safari Administrator segregates tables/joins into discreet sections – often by business function – thereby ensuring that users access only the information they require. Further clarity may be added by transforming table names and/or field names into more “English-like” terms; these help your colleagues select the correct data to include in their reporting or analysis projects. ASG-Safari Administrator also permits commonly-used reporting components to be added to tables and joins (e.g., calculations); these then appear as fields. By adding repeatedly-used elements to tables and/or joins, you become certain that accurate information is always included in the end result, and users creating reports or analysis save time by not recreating the same item repeatedly.

Realizing that users of all skill levels wish to ensure that they’re accessing the correct information – and sometimes only want to quickly validate an assumption without creating a report – ASG-Safari Administrator incorporates a read-only data verification solution, ASG-Safari DataViewer. ASG-Safari DataViewer is bundled with ASG-Safari Administrator, but may also be deployed in “stand-alone” mode to your colleagues who are less familiar with data administration tasks.
